  • WYC's Pearl DOF is the perfect "Little Luxury" in House & Home

William Yeoward Crystal's Pearl Double Old-Fashioned Tumbler made an appearance in the December issue of Canada's House & Home.  Designers, chefs and other experts offered their take on what defines a "little luxury", something that would make a gift that is "unique and personal".  Designer Nate Berkus suggests a "beautiful old cut-glass tumbler", but if you are buying for someone special, why not splurge?  Our Pearl DOF would add special glamour to someone's routine when used twice a day after brushing!  Another suggestion for unconventional use would be to pour mouthwash from the utilitarian plastic bottle into our lovely Quilty Bedside Carafe and Tumbler.  These are both ways to think out of the box... and into the bathroom!

  • The Robb Report Host's Guide is simply "Mad" about William Yeoward Crystal!

We were delighted to see that many, many great barware and stemware items from William Yeoward Crystal were featured in The Robb Report Host's Guide.  Featured items include the following:

All items are from the William Yeoward Crystal Collection, except for the Greta Flute which is part of the American Bar Collection.

Get inspired by the swinging '60's retro theme of this feature, and as the cover of this guide suggests, "Party like a Mad Man"!

  • Oh Canada: WYC's Tilly and Inez in House & Home

One of our newest retail accounts, Toronto-based Hopson Grace, has done a great job promoting William Yeoward Crystal through both local and national media vehicles, including House & Home magazine.  We were pleased to see a lovely image in the November issue, featuring the Tilly Hurricane from the Country Collection and the Inez Comport (or "compote" as many Americans and Canadians call it) from the Crystal Collection.  Those red berries and branches in the Tilly Hurricane do indeed look "effortlessly elegant"!

  • WYC's Fanny and Wisteria grace the cover of House Beautiful!

We were delighted to see stemware from William Yeoward Crystal's Country Collection gracing the cover of the November issue of House Beautiful.  Our Fanny Amethyst Goblets and Wisteria Goblets are featured in the dining room of a light and airy Westchester County home with interiors designed by Ashley Whittaker.  Full of floral wallpapers and upholstery in a pretty palette that is anything but clichéd, this home is brimming with fun and personality.  Clearly Ashley and her clients were not afraid to play with mixed patterns and unique colors, in a vein that mainly evokes a garden in Spring.  And our Goblets certainly fit in to that story!  As the cover says, this home is full of "rooms that dazzle"!

  • WYC features in T&C: La Dolce Portia and a Glam Thanksgiving

Items from William Yeoward Crystal were featured in two separate pieces in the November issue of Town & Country.

First, inspired by a wedding of New Yorkers that took place in Tuscany, the Portia Cake Stand & Dome is featured as part of the "get the look" collage in The Registry.

Then our Vita Amethyst Tall Cocktail Coupes (from the Crystal Collection), and Fanny Green Goblets (from the Country Collection) get the royal, silver-&-jewel-toned treatment on a glamorously updated table set with all sorts of inherited pieces, including silver epergnes.  We love the idea of mixing favorite antiques and inherited pieces with new items you've selected for yourself, to create a fresh and artful take on your table.  It's too late to say Happy Thanksgiving, but perhaps you will find inspiration here for your next Holiday table setting!

  • William Yeoward Crystal part of Brides' vision of white & gold

We were pleased to contribute items to one of Brides magazine's tables during the Tabletop Show in October.  Evoking over-the-top decadence, the table was filled with white and gold pieces and gleaming glass and crystal.  Our contributions included Gold Leaf Limoges Porcelain Dishes, Polly Candlesticks and Catherine Candlesticks in Crystal, as well as our classically elegant Avington English Bone China in White & Gold.

  • WYC's Pearl Flutes add to the cheer in Traditional Home

Traditional Home has featured the Lake Forest, IL home of designer Shelley Johnstone Paschke in a story called "All is Bright".  It's easy to see why!  The dining room is full of gold accents and cheerful jewel tones, fitting for the Holidays but a bit unexpected (in a good way).  William Yeoward Crystal's Pearl Champagne Flutes are a lovely complement to the rest of the table setting.  Pearl is a pattern that is painstakingly copper-wheel engraved by hand, each one taking hours of work by a skilled craftsperson.  Adding beautifully made stemware to your table, such as the pieces found in the Pearl Collection, will elevate your festivities for years to come!
