How to make a Martini
The Timeless Classic Cocktail
Global travellers will tell you that just about every bar in the world claims to serve a “classic” vodka martini and yet, in many cases, these drinks differ considerably from one to another. This version is based on the excellent rendering of this vodka cocktail that is enjoyed at Annabel’s in London’s Berkeley Square.

Martini Ingredients:
½oz (15ml) Dry Vermouth
3oz (75ml) Vodka
Twist Of Lemon Rind
To Garnish: 2 Green Olives
- Pour the vermouth and vodka over ice in a mixing glass and stir to make the cocktail very cold.
- Strain into a Daisy B Martini Glass.
- Hold the lemon peel over the glass and twist to spray a fine mist of its oils onto the cocktail.
- Garnish with the olives speared on a cocktail pick.
