How to make a Mojito
How to make a Mojito
A Refreshing Sensation
This Mojito recipe takes inspiration from “Chris’s Mojito”, served in the Beaufort Bar at the Savoy Hotel. This version of the famous Mojito cocktail is an extremely different animal to others. The muddled mint, lime juice, and white rum are classic ingredients but Christopher favours sugar syrup rather than the brown sugar that is often used. This gives a very “clean” result and makes the drink look fresher. Serve this in the Daisy B Tumbler Highball from William Yeoward Crystal for added sophistication.

Mojito Ingredients:
1oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
¾oz (20ml) Sugar Syrup
12 Large Fresh Mint Leaves
2oz (60ml) Bacardi White Rum
Soda Water, To Top Up
- Combine the lime juice, sugar syrup and mint leaves in a crystal highball glass.
- Add crushed ice to come about three-quarters of the way up.
- Churn vigorously with a bar spoon.
- Add the rum and churn again, making sure the mint is evenly distributed throughout.
- Top up with soda water and more crushed ice.
- Garnish with the mint sprig
